Community Campus Facilities
Lots of opportunities to get involved in local activities
The South Skye Community Campus will have a number of facilities that the whole community will be able to access it.
It will comprise of the Broadford Village Hall, the Games Hall and Changing Rooms in the new school building and the outdoor facilities; the Play Park, a NEW MUGA, and the NEW Full-Size All-Weather Astro Pitch.
Broadford Village Hall
The Hall is a community cultural hub with the building fabric and facilities to be upgraded. The use of it will focus on performances and community events. The Village Hall has a number spaces available to hire.
Coming soon: NEW Full-Size All-Weather Pitch
High-quality all-weather astro pitch will be open to all community sports clubs & groups. Access and all year-round training and match facility, including floodlit for night time winter use.
Coming soon: Games Hall & Changing Room
The Games Hall will be a double badminton court size space with adjacent male & female changing rooms. A new Library + Service Point will be adjacent to the community facilities.
Coming soon: NEW MUGA (next to new school)
The new MUGA will be part of the school grounds and will have lines for outdoor football, basketball and tennis. The surface is a rubber much like the old one.
Future Plans: BIKE PARK (between new school & new astro)
This much wanted bike space is still at a very early stage. The Community Campus has a working group looking into the project. For more information and plans click below:
